How to Make Your First $1000 as an Entrepreneur (Even with a Small Audience)

First of all, congratulations in advance on your future success! I know making your first $1,000 can feel intimidating, but it's not as hard as it seems. And once you hit that first milestone, it wont be long before you hit $10K, $50K, and even $100K.

Before you read any further, I just want to give a quick heads up—if you notice a lack of commas in some of the "$1000" mentions (including the title), it’s intentional for SEO purposes, lol. Gotta love those algorithm quirks! Now, let’s dive in.

Here are five ways you can reach your first $1000

You can also mix and match these methods to hit your goal even faster. Grab your laptop, your notebook, and let's go! Here's how you can make your first $1000!

1. Sell an eBook ($18 x 56 sales = $1,000)

Find a topic you know like the back of your hand, break it down in a way that’s digestible, and boom—you have a product. My very first eBook was about numerology because I had spent years studying it. I packed my knowledge into a 29-page guide that covered number meanings, how to calculate core numbers, how to read a numerology chart, and more.

The easiest way to create an eBook is to write it in Microsoft Word (trust me, I’ve tried every method—this is the simplest). Then, design a cover in Canva, add it to your document, export it as a PDF, upload it to your website, and you're good to go!

2. Offer 1:1 Coaching, Consulting, or Healing Sessions ($100 x 10 clients = $1,000)

This one is one of my favorites!! I've been doing one-on-one calls since I started my first business and I love getting to connect with my clients this way. If you charge $100 for an hour-long session, you only need 10 clients to reach your goal. Or, if you offer 30-minute sessions at $50, book 20, and there you go.

Here are some ideas for entrepreneurs who are in the spiritual wellness space: intuitive readings, astrology or human design chart readings, mindfulness or spiritual coaching, reiki healing, yoga sessions, or numerology chart readings. Be creative with your offerings. I sometimes add new readings to my other site. Last year, I added astrocartography chart readings and people LOVE them.

If you prefer working with people one-on-one, I highly recommend this one.

3. Launch a Monthly Membership ($10 x 100 subscribers = $1,000)

Memberships are one of my favorite income streams because they provide consistent revenue. Patreon is a great platform for this—you can charge $10/month, and if you attract 100 subscribers, that’s your $1,000.

Your membership can include behind-the-scenes content, exclusive teachings, personalized messages, or anything that aligns with your brand. It takes a little time to grow, but I DO feel like memberships are worth it. I'm always posting in my Patreon and I love how it's a more intimate space for my community.

4. Host a Workshop or Group Class ($50 x 20 people = $1,000)

This is insanely lucrative, and a great way to bring your community together. Let’s say you host a 90-minute workshop on your expertise—maybe something like: How to Read a Birth Chart for Beginners, for example. Charge $50, get 20 students, and there you go—$1,000 in one event. Pick a topic, create a flyer, get the Zoom link, and do your thing!

I actually offer Zoom yoga classes and distance group Reiki. I don’t charge $50 because it isn’t a workshop, but I usually charge $15 for group Reiki, which includes a live session beforehand with a reading and guided meditation. I also send Reiki channeled messages via email the next day. For Zoom yoga, I typically charge $11.11. However, if I were to teach a 90-minute masterclass (on numerology, for example), I would charge around $50. I feel like these are all really good prices. It's all about providing value to those who are supporting you.

5. Sell a Digital Course ($30 x 34 sales = $1,000)

Courses are an incredible passive income stream because you create them once and sell them over and over. If you’re an expert on something (numerology, mindfulness, astrology, etc.), package your knowledge into an online course. Sell it for $30, and with just 34 sales, you’re at $1,000. You can even look into selling your course on platforms like Udemy.

Cheers to Success

You can actually combine multiple income streams to reach your goal even faster. Let’s say in one week, you: sell 7 eBooks at $18 ($126), get 10 people to sign up for your membership at $10 ($100), book 5 people for a $50 workshop ($250), sell 5 digital courses at $30 ($150), book 4 one-on-one calls at $100 ($400).

That’s $1,026 in a week. And trust me, that is VERY doable.

Your first $1,000 isn’t just possible—it’s inevitable when you take action.

You’ve got the knowledge.

You’ve got the skills.

You're so gifted.
